Mommy Monday!

Hello! I thought I'd start posting some "mommy things" and call it Mommy Mondays!  Plus, it gives me a chance to talk about my sweet baby girl!  Today is my first day back at work, after almost 4 months off. I know - it's going to a be a lonnnng day, but I have tried to mentally prepare myself as best I could.  I was getting so used to staying home with Bailey, she is at a fun stage where she's reaching for things and squealing and smiling and laughing. I love it! Her most recent discovery is my hair, and man, does she love to pull it, but I love that too! The transition at daycare went smoothly.  I have to say, I was totally dreading dropping her off with a total stranger, but she did really well, she even smiled at me as I said bye bye and walked out the door.  New mommies, if your baby is anything like mine, it's probably harder on you then it is on them. My next obstacle will be pumping at work.  Luckily, the place where I work has "Mother Rooms" where moms can go and have a little privacy, they are amazing!  I read online that while pumping at work, you should have water handy and a picture of your baby, check. and check.  I'll have to post again and let you guys know how my first day went, and Bailey's first day at daycare!
